BOARD MEMBERS
Davide Carnevale graduated in 2016 in Literary Criticism and Comparative Literature at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", where in 2021 he obtained his Ph.D. in Italian Studies. His current fields of interest are the research of the structural and thematic connections that link the fantastic genre to postmodern literature and the study of the practices of transposition of the narrative modalities of the fantastic into different forms of language, interest culminated with the publication in 2017 of the articles «“A Ghastly and Inappropriate Splendour”: the Fantastic in Dino Battaglia’s Comic Adaptation» and «“In My Restless Dreams, I See That Town”: A Narratological Perspective on the Fantastic City of Silent Hill». He has also written for Nicola Pesce Editore the introductions of the comic books La mummia by Dino Battaglia and Il Collezionista by Sergio Toppi.. He is a member of the GEF, Grupo de Estudios sobre lo Fantástico of the University of Barcelona.
